For those of us who like the sport as a sport and like to bet a little along the way.

This horse, left, one of the great ones of the 20th century, is the main reason I got hooked on horse racing. When I was small, my dad took me with him to the track and gave me $6.00 to bet as I wanted. If my bankroll reached $0.00, that was it. He never gave me more. With my kids-sized bankroll growing, I bet $20 to win on this champion and won $26.00.
Who is this horse? Hints: The stakes race I am talking about happened at Delaware Park in 1966 and this horse became one of the industry's best-ever broodmare stallions. E-mail me below if you want to take a shot at answering it.
